Join us for "A Tasteful Evening" on Thursday, February 5th, from 6:00-8:30pm.

The first event of our 2009 Dining Series will feature creative Italian cuisine and inspiring wines from Italy.

Menu items include an Antipasto station, Grilled Gourmet Pizza’s, and a Pasta Station featuring hand-made Gnocchi and Ravioli as well as Shrimp, Chicken, and Calamari in various sauces.

A wine sale will take place during the event, offering guests a one-night only discount on the featured wines.

The cost is $45 per person, which includes all food and drink. Partial proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Delaware.

Longwood Gardens Orchid Extravaganza

A perfect escape from January's winter chill is a stroll through the thousands of orchid blooms found this time of year in the conservatory at Longwood Gardens. Breathtaking displays, including the new Orchid Mobile, are waiting to enchant visitors.

Don't forget to stop by The Gardens Shop at Longwood. This boutique boasts a selection of gifts and plants that are sure to delight any garden enthusiast.

Guests of the Estate can purchase discounted admission tickets to Longwood Gardens, through our Front Desk staff. They offer a saving of $2.00 per adult on the price of admission to Longwood.

Weekend Entertainment at Delaware Park

The new HOPS bar at the Delaware Park Racetrack and Slots facility is a great spot for social relaxation and late night weekend entertainment. Decorated in Samuel Adams memorabilia, HOPS offers a vast selection of draft and bottled beers, as well as a full bar selection. Of course, the featured drink is Samuel Adams quality ale!
