Chris Botti at The Grand

May 13th
8:00pm

Available Prices: $40-$67
Box Office: 800-37-GRAND

Through his singular combination of lush atmospheres and thoughtful improvisations, PBS star trumpeter Chris Botti has earned both critical acclaim and popular appreciation in the realm of contemporary jazz. Italia, Botti’s most recent release, is a suite of songs and music inspired by the romance of Italy. “Italia is all about mood, atmosphere and evocation whether it's an ageless "Ave Maria," a haunting Morricone theme from "Once Upon a Time in America," a genial duet with Dean Martin (based on a 1957 recording of "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face"), Puccini's majestic aria "Nessun Dorma" or a pop collaboration with tenor Andrea Bocelli on the title track.” – The New York Times

The Stork is Coming!

We are very excited to share the news that Ethel and Christian are expecting!

Our resident Royal Swans have mated once again, and a new batch of cygnets (baby swans) are expected to arrive sometime in late May.

Ethel can be found perched on a large nest on the south bank of the pond, while Christian is standing (swimming) guard and will sometimes take Ethel's place on the nest so that she can feed.

Check back for updates on our expanding family of Royal Swans over the coming weeks.

Or better yet, come see them for yourself! Join us any evening at 5:30pm by the Pond for our Royal Swan Feeding Ceremony.
