Celebrity Kitchens

As a follow up to my last post, I wanted to share my experience at Celebrity Kitchens with you. As I have said before, I love to eat, so I was very excited to attend "Puttin' on the Ritz" - a demonstration dinner with Philadelphia Ritz Carlton Chef Kevin Sbraga. When I first arrived, I was welcomed and seated by Angela, one of the owners. I felt right at home in the intimate setting, small tables set with fresh flowers close to the kitchen so I wouldn't miss any of the action.

Once Chef Sbraga and his assistants were introduced, he got straight to cooking the first course. I was able to watch each step from the mirror above the stove or on the television. As he prepared each course, guests asked questions and the chef shared cooking tips like keeping the heat low on the pan when cooking veal chops. If the oil is popping loudly when you place the food in the pan, the oil is too hot! Chef Sbraga even helped served the food, so I was able to speak with him one on one about each dish. I also received the recipes so now I can re-create the meal at home.

Now guests of the Estate can receive exclusive discounts at Celebrity Kitchens when the reservations are made by yours truly. Advance reservations are required for demonstrations and hands on classes. They also host private events as well as business and corporate team building programs.
